In person
Organised at the University of Coimbra under the leadership of Maria João Ferreira Duarte da Guia, the first international CINETS conference marked the founding of the Crimmigration Control International Network of Scholars.
The gathering established CINETS as a space for critical, comparative, and socio-legal engagement with the ways criminal justice and migration control shape one another.
